Default Bowling and Batting

I think the bowling cursor needs to be put in. Its simple and easy to use. I think you need to be able to work on batsmen. A few short balls followed by a yorker. See how they deal with that.

And i also think bowlers should be punished for bowling short by being smacked.

We need a defensive button. Im playin on Cricket 2002 at the moment and theres no defensive shot you have to play a frountfoot drive and half the time you miss it. I think that overs should be quick.

And another thing i reckon the time of each over should detirmine how many overs you get.

Ive been playing Cricket 2002 and i think its alright but Swordfish could do much better however a couple of things that need to be changed for BLIC 2005. The test need to be quick inbetween balls and overs. You should be able to skip every cutscene. I fianlly worked out how to defend on Cricket 2002. I think this should be the same. Up and A/X (depending on your console)Frountfoot A. Backfoot Y. (I play on XBOX) . Leave X. I think the cursor for bowling should be alot easier to use than the EA Sports effort.

When you bowl a slower ball the computer shouldn't always be expecting it. The game needs stumpings and more Caught and Bowled.

Back to the batting. I think a confidence meter is a good idea. For tests more than ODIs. And a new idea. A health meter. For running. When you want a quick single you tap really quickly but when youve hit a hard shot a just want to keep the strike. A slightly stupid idea i know but what do you think. I reckon it could work. But isnt essintial.

And please DONT HAVE RICHIE BENEUD he the most boring commentator you could ever get. Can Codies confirm anything about custom soundtracks for the XBOX
