Is it possible to get confirmation from someone at Codemasters for if the requests for additions to the game made in the forums are being looked at?
There were requests by gamers (the people who "buy" the game) for V8 Supercar 2 and not too many were included. Was also requests in the patches...they werent done either. So are people's requests being looked at for inclusion in the game? We are afterall the ones who have to be thought of...since we are the ones potentionally who will make the purchase

Slightly different scenario to other games such V8 Supercars - as we're kinda building this one from scratch.
Yes, we read everything on the forum. Doesn't mean that all the ideas will be in the game and maybe we'll have to miss out some ideas for reasons of coding, time, or processing space. Plus, remember, we're trying to make a game for all fans, not just the people on forums - everyone who buys the game, rather than the forumites. I think we listen and we take heed - especially on games that I look after. I bully certain people to keep looking at the forums. ![]() And finally, look out for more developments at the end of next month.

Thank you for replying.
i understand it is different to v8 Supercars, but why not take all the suggestions and make it great at the first opportunity. i do realise too that the game is being made for all fans not just us on the forums, however, i dont think there is a suggestion here that all fans wouldnt agree with that should be included. cant wait to see how it ends up

Well, I'll be able to give you a lot more details as to the game, how it plays and what will be included.
I'll try and have a play of the Alpha version of the game before the press release (due on the 25th of this month) and let you know on some of the gameplay as well.

I just want to say i have been following cricket game development for probably 8 years. EA did a great job in 1997 with the cricket 97 ashes edition. It was a game i enjoyed and it had great playability. There is not one game that has been enjoyable to play since then and the EA developers hide from the consumer, they are a disgrace. I think that the fact codemasters have this website and have someone responding to our questions about this new cricket game is fantastic and I have a greater respect for the codemasters brand.
I hope the game is playable with plenty of tournaments. i just hope codemasters spend a lot of time on game play, i dont mind if the graphics are poor, if the game is good and feels real, and it has plenty of options to play it will be massive. Ill be keeping posted to this forum it is briliant |

Welcome mjadelaide!
We, well, I, try to be honest and approachable about the games, what we're doing etc. And Codemasters are happy to listen to the fans. We might not put in everything that people request because we can't but we'll certainly listen and take note.

This game WILL be better than any EA effort. Simply because Codemasters are listening to us. Would any other developer have feed back like this and would they reply to posts on forum pages? NO. I have been a massive fan of Codemasters since BLC first arrived on the megadrive, and not just Cricket games, Colin McRae and the excellent TOCA touring cars 1 & 2. With any Codemasters sequel there is ALWAYS improvement from the previous title so BLC 05 will be even better than BLC 99.
