Server information needed

I would very much like to recieve better information from the servers ingame. I am getting quite tirred of beeing kicked from the server, due to downtime or alike, in the middle of quests. Could you please give more information ingame?

Hi knygaard,

I'm sorry you felt you were booted with no warning. However, the news of the scheduled weekly maintenance has been posted on the game news page (http://www.ddo-europe.com/wayfinder.php) for the last few days. This information is pulled into the game launcher too so you will see it every time you login (unless you suffer from the TAGEND bug).

Also, updates regarding the server status can be found in this thread (http://community.codemasters.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1102730#post1102730).

A world broadcast was also given on each server 10 minutes before the servers were shut down, so you really were just very unfortunate to miss all of those warnings, notices and announcements.

I'm not sure if it's a feature or not, but since I've never seen it, I'm going to mention it: There should be pop-ups warning of imminent shut downs, kind of like the you've-idled-to-long pop ups, not just messages in the chat.

Good idea with the Pop-ups. Im sorry, but I do seem to suffer from the tagend bug? How can I fix that?

Got kicked this very morning, with no ingame warnings of the scheduled shut down. I know the servers are being shut down for maintenance on wednesdays, but I would really like an ingame pop-up, or the like, telling me that they are going to be shut down in 5 min. So that I do not start on a quest.
