V8 Challenge

I was just on the EA website and I came across V8 Challenge for PC. According to EA this game was release in Australia in May 2002. Can anyone confirm this? How does the play?

Mate don't even bother. Yeah, it was released last year with much anticipation but failed to deliver.

Very arcade like physics and crap AI, some Australian race tracks mixed in with some swedish ones (or something like that). The internet play was the only good thing but that has died.

Keep your money and wait for RD.
