The shortcut bar at the bottom of the screen is really handy if you want to switch from a ranged weapon (like a bow) to a melee weapon and/or a shield. BUT if you have the two weapon fighting skill (which is common if you are a ranger) the bar becomes sort of useless because it is impossible to equip two weapons by clicking on two shortcuts (like with a shield and a weapon), the system just switches them.
So it would be great to fix that, for example by making it possible to drag two weapons (or shield and weapon or whatever combo) to one slot as is common in some other games, so the system knows that you want to use both at the same time.
