I think that possibility to bind for example "b" to say "TRAP!!" command would be very helpful. Is this possible?

There is an /alias command for that. Dont ask me how though :)

This is a very good idea especially for rogues who need to warn the party of upcoming dangers.

In WOW you can create macros to combine emotes and display text messages at the same time. So you could for example combine the point emote with the words TRAP!!. This functionality could be a valuable life saver for none rogue / ranger party members when the scout just doesn’t quite have the time to type in a warning.

Pressing and holding in the ALT key could bring up a temporary bar of saved macros.

Something for this would be very handy as last night I tried out a Dwarven Ranger and had great fun.

I was finding traps etc that our Rogue missed so the party would be up ahead and I'd be trying to type TRAP as fast as possible before they set it off.

This should be a top priority concern imo. It's too often too late when you start typing "TRAP!".

Try typing:

/alias ;b /p TRAP!

Now you need only type ;b to shout trap to your party.

Well till the devs implement something like this (which I find pretty usefull) there is a pretty good bindable key ingame, it is called "ctrl" and on my settings activates the TS/ Ingame Voicechat.
Try it, at least with your guild.
