Most probably already suggested.. but here we go.
Currently, the social interface can be rather confusing. Here's a list of changes I would like to see made.
Friends list and imaginary friends
Currently, you can add whatever you want as a friend (For a time I had Asadsdhfsdhg on my friend list.). Please limit the ability so you can only friend characters who actually exist.
Chat system and imaginary/offline recipients
Currently, you can send a message to whatever you want via the /tell option. Can you please add an error-message so you cannot send messages to characters who do not exist/are not online?
The "Say"-command and chat bubbles
Currently, the "/say"-command is very dissappointing, since it's absolutely impossible to see who someone is speaking to, if they are. I made a comment on someone's gear the other night, and a guy across the room thought I was speaking to him.
For a roleplayer like me, The /say-command in mmorpgs is very important and I'd like it to be as good as possible. I want to see speech bubbles introduced, to give you an approximate location of where a voice actually comes from, not only the name of the player who says it.
All competing mmorpgs on the market, do have chat bubbles nowadays after all (well, EVE doesn't.. for obvious reasons ^^).
Finally, a bug that is not related to the social system and probably shouldn't go in this forum ^^
Remapping of RMB and RMB interface options
I have remapped my right mouse button to block, since I find it far easier to tumble with my rogue then. The game does not support this very well, and I can no longer use my right mouse button to modify ANY part of the interface. It's quite annoying as I'm one of those people who like forming groups and taking charge, but I cannot modify the party at all after creating it.
Thanks for reading this.
