A move for a vote of "visible cloaks on chars"! Who's with me?! :p

..But seriously, i really missed this in nwn, and now i miss it even more! Nothing would be more cool than my bard dancing around singing songs in a long, green, floating cloak!

Vote cloak today!

Aye, this is a must. After all, was there ever a player in D&D that didnt wear a cloak one time or another on his playing carrier?

Well Im with you, but Satine said a while back (if I remember correctly) that those animations would be pretty hard to do and implement now.
Would be ccol though.

This is third on my wish list. To be honest I was quite surprised that more things didn’t show up on the character models like in WOW or The Temple of Elemental Evil. As the game stands now all characters feel a bit to similar to one another. There isn’t enough variety in appearance choices to make your character truly individual.

Ideally I would like to see cloaks, boots and gloves all appear on the character model.

This is a must...they need to add this one day but its not a top priority.

I personally think all items should be visible (goggles, necklaces, rings etc) to make EVERYONE more unique.

I found a level 4 wizard the other day who looked identical to me in every way lol

I can understand why cloaks aren't in as an animated object, it took the CoH team about a year after launch to be happy with the animations to let cloaks be added there - and they're an absolute superhero stable so they were a priority.

I don't (alas) expect to see them visible in DDO ever.

Sadly I suspect you are correct.
However I believe that the ability to make characters appear "unique" through the wearing of visible items is a pretty much "must have" in todays generation of multi player RPG games.

A very reasonable statement.Feeling that you are "just one of the many" can make you feel bored after a short period.

Whats the first thing EVERYONE thinks when seeing a Paladin exept his amazingly curvy armor and enormous greatsword inscribed with all different things... HIS CLOAK :O his charismatic edge of em all. =)))
we must have cloaks but i guess turbine went low on time and now they're working on LOTR? why make a new game when you can use all that time into DDO and make it awesome.
some graphics adjustments here and there some events ect. that would make people stay in it. =)
