Trade Forum for each server

In the absence of an auction house, people tend to try and buy and sell things in taverns, but this has limited success as many taverns are in use.

Perhaps a Trade forum for each server in the server forum section would help. Aureon-Trade for example.

That way people could post what they had for sale and what they were looking for etc and meet up in game to make the deal.

Why not just go into the specific forum for your server and create a "XXXX Server Trading Thread" and ask Satine nicely if you can have it stickied or somesuch?

Or am I being hopelessly Näive?

Might as well just start new thread for each item... a sticky thread would need clearing out as things get sold. At the moment the Server forums aren't exactly flooded with threads so should be manageable.

Thread names: [WTS] +5 Longsword of the Gods
or [WTB] +2 (or higher) Mithril Armour

I'm making an trade section for my guild atm on our website, it all goes well I might put it up for download for other people when it's finished, but there is still alot of work to do.

Just an information for you who maby wanna be interested in a system like this!
The system is based on a php-nuke portal.
It's using MySql for database
It have an full admin section
so far it is only ment to be a guild trading system, but who knows what will happen in the future.
When ppl have somthing for sale, you can see it from that persons sales list, and it have allmost the same details as if you were examining it inside the game.

well there is allot of other things it will be abel to, but I'm to tired to write em all.
