Why is there no 1SANE 2 I love that game. Its best racing game ever.

Why cant some one make a good racing game where your not stuck on a track like the NFS. I want to be able to go where ever a vehichle is able to go. Like 1SANE. YEAH TOCA RACE CAR DRIVER LOOKS GOOD I played it. But stil 1sane is better. It be nice to put the cars from toca into 1sane, And give it a track editor, Most important leave it wide open no boundries gaurd rails or stands.

I would just like to buy the original version. I've been playing the demo for years & you can't seem to buy it anymore.

I did not know that. Is it really 8 year old. WOW!! still I love it better than NFS and Toca. It Just need some licenced cars. and a Map editor.

Hi,

It's a great game, I love the way you can drive wherever you like. I used the demo for a month and I've just bought a secondhand copy of 1NSANE on ebay. There were about 5 for sale last week. Search for "1NSANE" and "INSANE" (using 1 and I at the beginning).

My problem now is installing it on XP.

I uninstalled the demo tried to install the full version but it didn't get past 99% of the Install Shield screen.

Then I tried the demo again and that wouldn't install either. Error!

I have found a patch which should hopefully work.

Yeah there may be issues with XP as the game was made pre-XP, but I have found that it works on one of our machines here OK, once both patches are applied.

We have the rights to sell the game ;) Hence it is part of our Best Sellers Range :)

However another well known Budget Range Publisher also has the opportunity to sell it too :cool:

A fun game that never really got the 'recognition' it deserved! Had a 3 way MP session last night and it was a blast 2 machines XP & mine on Win2K. No problems installing or running with any of 'em.

I bought 1nsane about 2 years ago, right before the online gaming for it went bye bye. I really miss playing it online. I agee, they should make an 1nsane 2. Its still one of the best, most fun games I have ever played.

1nsane wasn't ever properly marketed. It sorta just fell between the cracks as it was (and still is) a difficult game to pigeon hole. Invictus - the developer - have moved on to other things (new game being released soon) and I doubt Codemasters see 1nsane as a worthwhile license.
