hi there gamerz :)

i was wondering if anybody could tell me if classic games like
cannon fodder and swos (i have been told that the original
companies behind these great oldschool games are now a days part
of codemasters) are available as pc-versions ?

i played these games like 10 to 5 years ago on my amiga 1200 gamescomputer back then, and i would love it if i could play those
games on my pc now.

i know that there are good amiga emulaters available but how do i acctually get the old amiga games to work with then... i really dont know (and the old amiga discs are also quite worn so playing them on the old dusty amiga is neither an option :( )

well thanks in advance
hopefully it is possible to play these great games one way or the other, 3d games of now are also great but sometimes you just wanna play oldschool just like listening to oldschool muzak :D

Cannon Fodder, Cannon Fodder 2 and SWOS where all release on the PC! I know Sold Out Software had the distrubution licence to Cannon Fodder 2 so I would check out ebay to get a copy.

Only problem is that these games where really built around DOS, which Windows XP lacks support for, so it is very tricky to get the game to work properly. Now I love SWOS that much that I got a old P233 PC for about £30 and have put most of my retro games on it. You don't need another monitor/keyboard/mouse if you get a KVM Switch for about £15-£20. Retro Games do look nice on a TFT!

Ohh, Cannon Fodder! Now there was a game! Didnt know it had anything to do with Codies though. Ive still got an old PC one made by Sold Out somewhere.

Yeap, Codemasters brought the Sensi products and then release cannon fodder on the Game Boy.

WE WANT SWOS BACK ON THE PC! Go on Special Release or something ;) 2005 Updated of Course!! :)
