It was sooooo sweet reading that. I mean, no more reverse grids, no more slot car tracks! But it was a pretty neat spectacle and all.

hopefully they will get to tassie....
but i suppose AVESCO will try and get gov. money...shouldn't AVESCO pay for their own circus....
rather than using tax payers money to pay for their wants and needs...isn't AVESCO a company?

They should be contributing for all of the costs associated with the v8's and should pay the circuit owners as well....if it wasn't for the circuits i doubt very much there would be any racing at all...

Come on AVESCO stop being so greedy...

Yeah, I am a fan of it going. I went the first year it was on down there, it was f***ing cold and you couldn't see much of the racing. I know that's generally what street circuts are like, but was not impressed. Also the facilities where crap, hardly any dunnies and very few food outlets. I don't know if they improved after that year, you would think so, did any one go?

Also I agree, the reverse grid thing on a track like that was not great.
