I'm starting this thread for a bit of help really.

I've got around 100 silver leaf and 20 odd golden items for buying Lothlorien gear (or at least starting to) but I'm not a big one for working out stat combinations and I just start to glaze over when I try and compare what these 'Lorien items might improve for me.

Has anyone bothered grabbing any of these bits and pieces and, if so, what would u recommend for a hunter? Or should I just buy a banner and a statue? :)

I don't want to just get the 'hunter' style items for the sake of it. That just boosts agility even more and I don't overly need it and I'd suffer a big drop in will and fate if I did.

I'm 4/6 on the Great Bow armour (need helm and shoulders) and have various purple bits of jewellery. Stats as follows:

Mighty 313
Agility 539
Vitality 399
Will 249
Fate 410

Morale 3767, ICMR 942
Power 2540, ICPR 841

Thanks!

id recommend enjoy lothlorien for roleplay and lore aspects and dont give a damn about statwise rewards.
Soon book 8 will bring remarkable end game content.
I havent been much into lorien ; i will explore once i return in autumn.

I had quite a long look at the jewellery items & decided I'd be giving up too much in stats. Though they do have some ranged crit & the set bonus is... quite nice... errm - a bit like Needful Haste on amphetamines If I understand correctly :D. The cloak seemed inferior to the V2/bk 6 reward for me, the gift boxes are :cen: and I already have a white horse soo...

In the end I just bought the damage type scroll (x2). Beleriand and +4 Orc damage combined is quite tasty.

They have their uses but not some thing for every day wear.

the melee set is quiet nice and so is the + ranged damage for a fellowship boss finish.

I actually bought the jewelery set and even clicked it twice. It's a mediocre damage boost over 30 seconds, that's all.

In truth I would have loved an effect as the melee damage set, only for ranged dps.

I will maybe buy the wrist of the healing set. I like the morale and the power on this.

I have just taken the lorien boxes for my gold leafs. 3 boxes thus far.. first was a crappy tier 5 relic but number 2 gave me a second age lvl 60 bow and the third a second age hunter sword lvl 60.

I dont care for the jewelry etc in lorien i just use the ones from HM's.

If I ever bother to gain enough gold again I'd buy the jewel set that gives -50% speed on all skill inductions for 30 secs, even though it has tactical bonuses. Great finisher for big opponents like the turtle.

I am going to take the bracelet that is meant for healers (Wristlet of Lauronisndininsiananan) It has nice morale, power and ICPR. At the moment my hunter is in full power regen mode as its the only way to keep up up even slightly with the RK using Strength stance. Im using 2 bowmaster traits, whisper draw book.

As all the Tanks in our kin are saying- the DPS is all important in MoM. There is very little thinking involved in the lair raids and the turtle is a 5 minute back of a fag packet sop for the delayed proper 12 man raid that was pushed back from book 7

Im also trying for one Insidious cuff from GS HM.

I would recommend the ring piece, since after moria rings variety is low. Allthough i got the marksman set from lothlorien, its just 30 seconds of +10% ranged critical boost (Quite good to be used with BurnHot/CoolBurn/Heartseeker combo) it's just too short duration, maybe if it was 30 minutes like the rest of the jewelery it would have been an option.

Fact:

No lothlorien jewel set works on Ettenmoors (Bug or no?) and that what makes me sad about those sets.

So I did buy it. And it's GREAT!
Remember, ALL skill inductions. Heartseeker halved, Press Onwards halved. Swiftbow, everything! If you have a nice power total, this can be used to do an incredible amount of damage combined with Burn Hot, and I'm not complaining about the length of it either, 30 seconds. I would have expected such a buff to last only 10 or 20 seconds, so 30 is a nice welcome.

I took the -50% Inductions set first, works quite nice.

I took the +10% ranged crit set next, which seems to be pretty useless.

Im kicking myself for not taking the reflective damage set now instead of the ranged set.

Time to start grinding Gold Leafs again.
