Finding Furthest charges pages

Hi All,

I've been looking for the following pages for the Furthest Charge on the my hunter since before Moria was released

Pages 7, 17, 18


I am 100% sure that they are dropped in Angmar and I have so far looking in Donnvail, Ongbishuk, Malenhad, and Ram Duath

They just don't seem to drop to the point where I am beginning to wonder if they are bugged?

Any advice is great thanks

The pages drop randomly from humanoids in Angmar and Misty. The drop rate is kinda low, but I don't think it is bugged.

The best you could do is:

- Try the AH. If you check on a daily basis you're bound to find them.
- Ask in your server forums. You might find a good soul willing to give you some help.
- Ask kinnies to keep an eye for them.
- Farm like a mad man.

Sadly the results are :-

The price is anywhere between 1.5 to 2g + (I'm not willing to pay that much for them)

The guys and girls in the kin have been very helpful in advice, very helpful :)

Farming just isn't happening for me :( I've spend hours looking for them, over two hours yesterday evening and not one :( Its been months now in total :(

Might be worth giving Goblin Town a try. Book pages in general do seem to drop quite frequently in there.

ahhh, now I spent a long time in Goblin town and that is how I got most of my pages :)

I thought they were still split between Angmar and Misty's

Was it changed to a global drop so that any page can be found in either?

tbh I like adventuring in Goblin Town :)

Furthest Charge pages have always been world drops as I recall. It's the other 2 books that will only drop for you and supposedly 4 of each in Angmar and MM.

I thought they did away with the zonal nature of the book drops a good while a go in some update. I know for certain pages of books drop from goblins in Moria.

That's about right.

Humanoids of lvl 41+ seem to have a random drop chance of the tradeable pages of legendary books.

You need the pages? I NEED THE BOOK. So far it has not dropped for me and im lvl 45 right now. And the prices on Laurelin server of the book are insane. From 2,5 to 5 gold.

I can say for the other book - A Shot in the Dark (or something like that) the pages are devided - 4 in Angmar and 4 in Misty Mountains. And i only need 1 page for it. Going to Goblin town tonight.

Finding these tradeable pages is, as you've discovered, very difficult on your own. I normally end up getting some from the AH. But a facility we have set up in our kin, thanks to one of the officers, is a books and pages library. Whenever members find a book or page we don't require we send them to him and they are stored on various spare characters of his. Needless to say we are all very grateful for his dedication and hard work. It takes a fair time to sort things out. But all the Kin benefits. :)

Books will drop from any sentient mob ( in theory 39+ ). So farm orcs, goblins, hillmen, dourhands etc in any area that has mobs over level 40.

Pages for this book do not drop the way they do for the other 2 books. Its totally random. You may kill 1000 mobs and have 20 pages to drop, none of which from this book. So don't loose your time grinding. I got the book at lvl 42. Now im lvl 60. Not a single page dropped for me all this time.
Check AH regularly, make money and buy the pages when the price is below 1 gold. You will end up spending about 10 gold but that's the way things are. And the skill you get is really good. I find it very useful.

Indeed... I was lucky that someone from the kin found the book for me, and I bought the pages from the AH. Having a lot of hunters, makes the prices go insane, almost 10 gold for all of them... But the legendary skill you get is very useful, indeed. what can I say, good luck with it!

Off topic: I am curious to see how high will go the prices for RK pages/book now... I've noticed an invasion, lots of players lvling up this class...

so far iv just seen the books going for 7 gold each and the pages for 2 - 10 gold each but i had luck just two days ago and got one of the books just for less then a gold! then yesterday two of the pages droped so so i guess even this hunter will get her books and pages :)

What server are you playing on? I know the hunter stuff are veeery expensive, but 10 golds per page, you have to be joking, or insane to buy them... Take your time and farm them, maybe you will get lucky...

About AH prices (off topic) I have made a lot of money from buying and reselling RK stuff (book, pages), I find it unfair that the hunters have to pay insane amount of golds for getting missing pages, while other classes need 3 golds (in the worse case) to buy the books and all pages. And to be honest, maybe RKers don't have the same numbers as hunters, but they seems to be everywhere, while other people take advantage of hunters being the main played class, I am taking advantage of the RKers being the most played class at the moment. I've made 30 golds so far using this method :D.
