So, i see the advice "play without virtues and enhance something you feel you're lacking" many times in different class forums.

Well only thing i've to wait for while questing / grouping is my power (my current class traits make me float in focus so i could spam focus skills on cooldown, if only my power would allow it). So how does the following look like:

Patience
Charity
Idealism
Wisdom
Confidence

All at R10 would give:
+30 Fate
+53 Will
+1113.8 non-Combat Power Regen
+3652 Wound Resist Rating
-4% Incoming Ranged Damage
+3043 Fear Resist Rating

Given my current level (soon to be 33 = could do all deeds up to north downs easily that i'm missing for them), i could get most of them to 4-6 rank for:
+12 Fate
+24 Will
+635.6 non-Combat Power Regen
+2232 Wound Resist Rating
-2.5% Incoming Ranged Damage
+1218 Fear Resist Rating

:o

edit:
Also, i think the above virtues could help with the increased power costs from bowmaster line and allow me to change for that/strength stance.

you can try to adjust power regen by these traits for the time being, but be sure u'll change them on higher levels :) u'll get many +in combat power regen stuff in your mid 40s and when u get bow of the righteous legendary trait, u will never have problems with power consumptions anymore. at those levels, u'll value agility and morale the most, or the resistance modifiers (another good approach imho).

have fun with your hunter! :)

I can also recommend this neat virtue planner where you can play around with your virtues, see their immediate effect on your build with your current virtue levels, and group them by their overall effect:
