please dont make it a flame/rant thread its here to have a good laugh.
A game in the end and hunter is a great class to play and hopefully will always be.
Bear in mind the book 7 changes are included.
The below is the list of the skill and traits that hasnt seen a nerf procedure or actually been buffed.

* * *
Class: Hunter ( http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Class:Hunter)

Skill Level: Moderate
Hunters are masters of field and forest, unmatched in their dexterity with the bow. They use their survival skills to guide companions and lay traps for enemies. Hunters are at their strongest when attacking from a distance, but are able to defend themselves in melee combat when needed.
Role: Nuker
The Hunter is proficient at dealing out damage to single foes at both range and melee. When Hunters are at range, they can unleash devastating arrow shots that do high damage to single targets. When the lone enemy manages to close into melee range, the Hunter is well-equipped to deal the finishing blow with some melee skills.

so you put down skills and traits that were buffed and nerfed since launch, right?aye ; i just checked official lorebook definitions and take out the traits and skills which have seen na erf procedure during development of the class since launch.
Btw also added the class definiton to the top there are some statements you will be suprised to read which doesnt seem to be true in the game any more.
i think they should change the class definition part.
Those skills/traits above you see are the ones havent seen a negative change.

So mostly a melee and CC buff since SoA (excluding book 7)? Maybe the orignal intention was to make hunter lean more towards CC and close quarter fight allowing other classes to become more distant nukers.

If this was the case i would like to see in combat traps not interuptable (not instant as crafted can do that) and traiting to get a root on penertraing shot not effect its cool down. Doing that could make a melee/bow line very interesting. Currently i find all the legndaries sets (slot 5) undiserable and use a 4BM/2/1 mix, my play style means i CC a lot in fellowships so i really should be a trapper of foes ;p

Nice thread thanks Mel it has provoked some thought over the future adjustments and what to do.

Bear in mind that i took all the skills/traits which have seen a negative change ( ie : there are some skills abnd traits which were nerfed - buffed again nerfed and even some are atm better than their situation at launch but these are very few ; Rain of thorns and sturdy trap comes to mind..)

p.s : btw it seems i have forgotten to add Strenght of the Earth which is unchanged but improved version seems kinda buff.)

yep primary role: Porting your fellowship to nearly everywhere in the world.

Class description: The Hunter is a capable class to guide your fellowship wherever it wants to go. Apart from: ..........

Anybody else feeling that the trapper trait line is now bloody useless in fellwoship. Kust read through the patch notes and saw that most boss mobs, and even their minions, as i recall, being immune to roots. I mean why would you build like that in Instances even if a LM is not available. You are just loosing more and more dps, and can't even root the mobs.
Dark Delving comes into mind. Well that is also nerfing the LM of course but it just seems more likely that a LM might dish out more DMG than the TrapperHunter and also adding more utility to a group, well apart from prting back to 21st hall, as seen above.
