Hi guys. im currently lvling my hunter (soon 54), and its been a long time since ive played him. So my question is to you all: What legacies should i look for on a bow/weapon? I really have no idea.lol
What is the best at my lvl now and what do i need to look out for when im getting closer to 60?

I think best are:
+Induction bow crit multiplier
+Focus bow crit multiplier
+Quick shot crit rating
-Induction bow power cost
-focus bow power cost
-induction bow threat down
-focus bow threat down
-endurance quick shot treath down

+heart seeker damage and burn hot damage is not completely useless but i would prefer 1 of the above instead. Those effect are on all the time and HS and BH have long cooldowns.

I would avoid:
-moving miss chance
-distracting shot cooldown
-distracting shot resistance
+barbed bleed damage

-Quick shot slow can be usefull depends on playstyle.
-evade/block/parry chance modifiers.... I don't like them, i would prefer 1 of the list i made on top. But i wouldn't cry if my bow got 1 of them. Is usefull but again i prefer others..

Maybe i forget some but i think these are important enough to mention.:)

You will be lucky to come across a bow that has the good stuff as listed above. there is always a bad penny. the tier of the leg is important. gold tagged crits would be great. 2 would be nice 3 would be lucky. then silver power reduction would help too and make for a nice 20th level upgrade.

okey got a decent bow now, but im not sure what to lvl first tho. The dps to max or the legacies? Or a little bit of both:)

I accidently deconstructed a level 60 third age bow with (2 tier 7 relics :( )

Induction crit
focus crit
HS damage
focus power cost
induction power cost

Then the same day i found a level 59 2nd age cross bow :)

It has
Induction crit
focus crit
range skill evade modifer
range skill block modifer
barbed arrow bleed
(waiting on the 6th)

I have to say i adore the range skill modifers, i hardly ever see my arrow go whizzing off to some wall or pole any more, so don't under rate this legacy.


I just have to find a decent threat reduction bow for fellowships now.
