Haven't seen a topic about this one yet (I could be wrong though) so showoff your legandaries! 3rd/2nd/1st age etc.. whatever you like.

I dont have a blue leg yet ( got one last night a lvl 50 2nd age spear with 3/3/3 needful haste / Strengt of earth/ blidsinde crit
but i put it on Ah since i dont like spears on main hand ; i prefer axe and maces.

I know I should use axes and maces in mainhand as a hunter for dualwielding, but as I am an elf I just refuse to do it. I found a nice lvl 59 SA sword on the AH for less than 12g buyout and now at level 38 it looks like that:

49,x dps (maxed)

speed: 2,1 (yes 59sh swords have 2,1 speed and that is ok, combines style with game mechanics)

-neefull haste duration, rank 6 legacy
-improved moralreg strength of earth, rank 6 legacy
-less cooldown for beneath notice, rank 6 legacy
-stealth detection, rank 6 legacy
-higher bleedchance for low cut, rank 6 legacy (not a single point in this one yet, and never will be I guess :-)

I have a lvl 60 bow of the SA, but it is pretty mediocre, has only 2 legacies (one is + bleeddamage to barbed arrow...) and not worth to be mentioned.

Nonsense, i should go for the fastest weapon because you are never in melee range. And if you are you can use your bow more ofter with a high speed weapon. I prefer daggers and spears. But swords can be nice too for the looks.. I really hate hunters with axes :P It just isn't right...

Dont know if its just that i've only decided to dust off the cobwebs from my hunter and theres just lots of hunters about, but i just cant find a 2nd age bow for less than 60g, and im not paying that.
I have rolled three other classes to 60 and in that time ive had lots of 2nd age stuff but never a bow..
Anyone else think the drops for hunters bows is poor?..or am i just unlucky.

Incorrect. You can always just turn auto attack off and use your bow as often as you want without spending time on melee attack. But if you use blindside (which you will) and perhaps low cut they are going to do a lot more damage with an axe or a mace then they would with a spear, dagger or sword.
Now for offhand yes pick the fastest weapon.

I am on Girlain and i think the same happens here. The only 2nd age bow that my whole kin got was a lvl 56. On the ah i have seen only two 2nd age (one crossbow and one bow) lvl 59. I have bought mine for 30g thought (not 60g !!!!) and i have stopped checking after that. Nevertheless i think that goes for most classes except wardens and rune keepers.

It's a nice PvE melee weapon, but it lacks the fundamental Needful Haste legacy. Hoping for a lucky reforge + decent tier on it. We'll see. And I leveled up Agile Rejoinder to give it a try... completely worthless.

I think its just random. I've dropped 3 level 60 2nd agers, one in FoS, one in Lothlorien & one in LoS. Guard Belt, Burg Club, Ward Javelin. Sold the first 2 to get the 60g to buy my 60 2nd age Crossbow. It had mediocre legacies but luckily popped the ind crit at 10 and the foc crit at 30. Its 42 now, looking like its going to turn out to be a keeper :)

Well... Both the crit multipliers are great but i think you lost too many other things. Only 2 legacies from the start, and lvl59 3rd age combi. :(
Still its a good 3rd age weapon until you find a good 2nd/1st i think.;)

Both the gems will stay the same on 50. The settings will be changed to tier 8 and the runes too. I really hope for a needful haste duration on my dagger, if i can't get it then a camouflage stealth level:) I play pvp so it's quite handy.
Hoping for induction crit multiplier on my bow or quick shot slow.

Hmm btw why do i level low cut bleed? Well its the move in melee i use the most:p (pvp)

Finally got my axe to max lvl, so it is all ready for screenshot.
I don't play much recently so can't be bothered with 2nd age weapons.
I'm rather working on 1st age :P

It's a shame that we have to spend so much points into dps and other legacies are left underused.(and with book 7 and weapon dps going so low.....)

My bow dinged 50, got Focus Bow Threat Down with reforge. I think pretty good but i wanted Induction Bow Crit Multiplier :p Ah well life isn't perfect...

Shame that all the second age bows are so fast, I just can't get used to a 2.2 speed weapon (sold a second age bow I got because of the speed).

My hunter's current weapon is a level 60 third age crossbow. Tier 6 in both crit multipliers, tier 4 in both threat reductions and currently (IIRC) in between 20 and 30, so hoping for a nice legacy at 30 :)

Shame I don't actually use him for PVE, so the threat reducers are pretty useless...

Lvl 58 2nd age bow's are 2.5 speed, 88-138 at Max damage tier, and lvl to 50.

Often overlooked for higher level weapons.

That's true, I've been half-looking for a nice level 58 bow for my Hunter for a while now, but the chances of me getting one in the near future are slim, as I just spent 30g on an axe for my Champion so most of my characters are skint :p

Doesn't lvl58 really lower your total DPS? Sure it slightly hits harder then lvl60 with skills but it is much slower. Don't see how lvl58 is better...
