i decided to get myself a wheel and as i coulnt afford the G25 and the formula force pro was the only one available near me i picked it up
when i finally got it working in grid i had big probs with trying to control any of the cars using the settings avaible in grid so i forced global settings with the profiler
makes abig difference for me any way
to do it just click on either wheell,brake of accelerator and adjust axis properties
also untick (allow game to change setting) in global device settings
not sure how this will work with non logitech wheels but worth a try
i can play now with all assists off ,still most of the way dow the field playing on extreme but getting there
Note to codemasters
while i realise the mono and g25 are prob the best wheels around just remember not everybody can afford them, on next games please have a generic profile so that the game recognoises a wheel is pluged in and each person can set up the axis for their own without going through a great deal of effort that users of gris had to.
If u want to see how it is done try the demo of Race07 or even better CRC2005 how they cope with unsupported wheel
On another note if the guy who is doing the mod of the different views reads this ,great work could u also take a look at CRC2005 and see how they turn your head towards the dirrection you are turning in,very helpful and also realistic as anyone that drives will know, not sure if u want to spend the time to try it but worth a look anyway
i dislike finishing on a bad note so i wont ,i do really enjoy the game u have made a great job of the graphics,damage since of speed and urgency,why stop at a good game,why not create a game that transends all other racers
