This usually happens after about 30 minutes of playing. My settings are all on medium no motion blur or vsync.Game runs perfect then frame rate drops way down for a while.Even if i pause the game the menus are all slow as well then after 30 seconds game runs perfect again i also experienced the same without the 1.1 patch being installed. The game runs at a reasonable rate for a few races then whilst in the middle of any race the frames drop so the game is running in slow motion for about a minute then the fps jump back up to normal at random.i have Nvidia 7950gtx,Xfi soundcard,4 gig ddr 2 all settings on medium and 1024x768 resolution vista 32 PLEASE HELP.

i was using gpu-z to check my gpu temperature and it was rising to nearly 120c while testing all other games the temp never rises above 80 odds maybe this is the cause of everyones slowdowns.

try to lower (underclock) the speed of your memory, if you know how.

Not a chance in hell, this is a codemasters/nvidia issue.

I'll compromise in certain ways but never in ways that will dumb down my system for one peice of software when everything else runs just fine.

For now my solution is to run GPU-Z, CPU-z, and Real Temp in my 2nd monitor wh ile I play this game....if the temps rise a little too high, I'll restart the game

I suggest lowering the resolution and see how you get on. But a full dxdiag would help
