Ability to SAVE and LOAD replays.

Dear Developers,

Upon patch 1.1 and then 1.2, I was and am SO satisfied with this game. It was AMAZING to have the controller problems and the FF issues fixed.

GRID is CLOSE to the best race game to date...

I have but one question.

To make it just that TAD better, WHY ON EARTH CAN'T I SAVE MY REPLAYS and then LOAD and VIEW them as I want? All PC users have GIGABYTE upon GIGABYTE of harddisk space - so thats not an issue.
As you let us VIEW replays after EVERY completed race - its just a matter of ENABLING us to SAVE these and LOAD them later? I mean, you GOT the data at the end of every race - WHY ON EARTH did you not do a simple "SAVE REPLAY" function in the game?

I use replays extensively in other car games to watch my driving and IMPROVE my driving by looking at the replays again and again and through this learn visually what I do wrong or where I can improve.

PLEASE - could you include this in a future patch?

Has always amazed me when game creators have cool replay functions in-game but no SAVE/LOAD function...

Exactly.

They have ALL the info as they replay it after the race, now just add a few functions to SAVE that in a file and LOAD those files and a few buttons for it in the menus, home free.

Too bad the game STILL crashes at times, just won a darn hard race and *boom* - in Windows I was... :|

Anyway - Codemasters - c'mon, give us SAVE / LOAD replay.

saving online replays would be awesome, when us BEERs have a tourney we can paste the replay file for people to watch :D

I think saving replays would be great as well because using FRAPS to save the files amounts to huge files in the course of one 10 lap race (especially if you capture more than one view).

The other thing that would be nice is to be able to view the replays through different vehicles and also be able to hide the replay icon and replay control panel (much like in Dirt). That way it would be much easier to record footage for movies.

i think there is (or, maybe, at least they (CM) thought about it), or there will be the possibility to save replays: while looking around in the ActionMap files i found this in the Replay Commands section: save - win_key_s - keyboard.

i'll try it asap and let you know

I also use FRAPS to save and though it works, it sure is a ton of trouble to get a presentable video out of it. A built in option would make life alot easier.
