Hi, i bought grid dvd for my pc,ows vista, wif the requirments, updates etc, it didnt work what so ever, then i updated my drivers and it loads and starts but as soon as i press any keys it goes off. so i down loaded the new patch 1.2. But it comes up saying the is no version of grid on the system to update. so it doesnt recoginse that grid is installed already, does any one know how i can install the new patch?? Plz Help

Maybe you must install the 1.1 patch first?

i actually tried to install the 1.1 patch 1st, same problem

Hi, uninstall GRID completely, delete any folders left behind from the installation, also delete the codemasters folder located in My Documents and see if that helps.
As far as i know patch 1.2 in not cumulative so just use the 1.2 patch and not 1.1 and then 1.2, not much help i know it's just a case of trial and error.
EDIT: this could be different for vista, i still use win xp

-Uninstall
-Run MyUninstall
-Right click the Grid entry, select Delete Selected Enrty

Works well with other games like BF2 ;)

It deletes the ALL registry keys for any program you see on the list, some of the reg keys are deep in the Registry, some games like BF2 have also have some that you wouldn't find yourself.

These remaining keys can stop your game reinstalling or patching.

i clicked delete, selected entry, do i have to then unistall it as usual?

Uninstall the game first.
CCleaner does the same job
