Patch 1.2 has fixed everything for me!

It has even improved performance. Patch 1.1 was bad news in terms of my setting not being saved and other stuff that I care not to remember.

What I think needs fixed/added/changed/removed:
I want a restart button after the race has completed.

Next:
Fix the crash on exit finally.

During drift events, I want to know what score I need to beat in order to come first. I want to race last, after everyone else has finished.

Driver's wheel is always shifted to the left when my wheel is centered. The car goes straight.

Next:
Destruction derby is actually a drift challenge. Yeah, its a drift challenge. Its just one biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig loooooooooooooooooong sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide with occasional wall hitting. I think someone has a bad day and accidentally (I don't think its possible to do it intentionally) replaced destruction derby parameters with drift parameters. Why would my opponents just keep drifting from the very first turn otherwise?
I would prefer "last car moving" with unlimited lap amount instead of DD race.

When I accelerate on grass, the car just spins whatever way is the furtherest from forward. Runs perfect on reverse gear.

PLEASE fix the annoying car freezes. The car just freezes in its place with no reason, the engine sounds like its still moving forward. Lasts less than a second, just stops, sits and continues driving. Opponents keep moving.
This bug is really rare and is easily fixed with flashback/restart/just moving on but its really annoying.

Next:
Action replay = replay of few seconds before the moment X. How about adding 10 more seconds to action replay? I think you've added some already but its still not enough if I press the escape button too late.

Oh and please write a guide "how to hire new drivers" cuz I started season 3 and am still the only driver in the team.

Patch didnt fix anything here, only mde it worse, i now get ranom freezes/stutters with day and night races, game crashes at random with an eror "Grid.exe has stopped working"

Still no Force Feedback, still the game hangs on loading/saving and still get horible low FPS/stutter wen night falls at LM 24h race, and still the game wont exit normaly.

Like i said before, i volunteer if Beta testers are needed...
Really seems to me that not enough people or systems with difrent specifications where involved in Beta testing the game and patches.

be honest. those are make-this-game-like-NFS questions.
He has almost no Grid experience, and allready expecting that he can race like a pro.
In my first races I was seeing more grass, dirt and concrete walls then asphalt too.

You can hire and fire team mates through MY TEAM -> TEAM MATE. But I thought the game takes you there for the first team mate without asking...

You need to be Pro though, I think, before you can hire a team mate.

I had exactly the same problem as you - patch made things worse for me. BUT, things are now OK again after I uninstalled the game completely, re-installed and patched straight to 1.2. It seems that patching from 1.1 to 1.2 does work properly (or at least it didn't for me).

Give that a go and see if the game crashes less. Don't forget to backup your saved games before you do this though.

You can view and hire drivers from the Grid World->My Team->Driver Rankings menu. Scroll up and down in that list to select a driver, you'll see a 'Shift' key indicator (on PC) labeled 'Hire Driver' appear at the bottom of the display. Press Shift (on PC) and you'll see that drivers attributes and more options will appear at the bottom of the display. You can find out here what his hire requirements are - sign on cost and race win payout details.

Be careful that you don't accidentally hire someone here.

I never knew this,

and I found it extremely hard to choose (and find) a decent driver through TEAM MATE screen.

Thanks for advice. Want to hear something funny? Its really funny! Shift button indicator doesn't show anywhere, scrolled to the very end of it. And to the top. I can hire nobody. Cool...
I've spent 240k on cars and another 210k cash on my account and still can't hire a damn driver. Oh, and there's no "Team Mate" menu for me in the team rank... I'm still Rookie though, in all 3 parts - EU, US, Japan (wasn't it?).

In any case, I'm off for more racing. Great game. Started winning :D

Everytime I close the game after installing 1.2 I get an Error Message box and have to end up clicking don't send.

The same for me.. but apart from this issue 1.2 runs without a glitch
(for the moment.. no heavy gaming down here.. child is sleeping and FF wheel just makes too much noise :-) )
