Micro Machines Code Card

I recently dug out my old copy of Micro Machines (PC version 1) and tried installing it for my nephew, but I soon discovered that it won't run unless you have the code card that goes with it. I have the instruction manual and supplementary instructions and the original floppy disk but no Code Card. How can I get a new code card or bypass this screen?

Ive never owned the Pc version of micro machines but i dont think you can bypass the code card screen. This is beacause in early computing days many floppy games wouldnt have enough protection on them and could be copied. the code card is a secuirty measure so that if someone did copy the game they would have to use the code card for it to work. I think codemasters might be able to replace you with a new card but as the game is quite old they might not have any spare copies about. hope this info is some use to you :)
