Control settings reset?

I checked other topics, but non mention this really slight problem (maybe im stupid and its not a bug, but hey!).

so, when i started the pc demo, mapped control keys (keyboard...), set graphics, to run smooth, and played. then i had to quit the game.
later i got back to my pc, wated to play a bit, and every mapped key was reset, had to set everything again. (dno if graphic settings were reset too)

as i said above, it's nothing compared to crashes and stuff, just thought i mention it. maybe it's normal with the demo, if so, then sorry for wasting your time :)
has anyone else experiece this, or i'm the only one?

specs:
Athlon 64 x2 3800+
AsRock 939Dual-vsta
inno3d 8600GT
Windows xp pro

every driver and windows updates are up2date aswell.

Not just you, I've had this happen to me a couple times as well.

Same here, have played the demo a few times since downloading it on saturday, set all the controls as I wanted, went to a race and hit the 'handbrake' for a turn and it was set for a different control (camera angle or menu I think).
Has happened a couple of times so far, loses all the control settings, deadzones, forcefeedback, most annoying ! You can't adjust all of the controls from the pause menu so you have to retire from the race to sort it out, and I think that's going to affect your game (standing/reputation/bank account etc)

I've got admin rights on my PC so I can't see it being file permission problems, if one of the devs wants to tell me where the settings are stored I'll gladly check the file permissions just to make sure..

it happens on ps3 to, think its just the demo im sure it will get fixed in full ver.
