First i must give my congrats to GRID'sTEam. This is very nice Game for Pc -Game.

Now i have a very Big Problem. I Have a PciE VGA Card HD3850 whit 256MB of Vram. Intel E2200@3.4ghz and 2024 DDR2 800mhz under Vista 32.

The Game "Grid Demo" start at 640 x 480 and if i set the resolution i can't choise the 1680 x 1050.

Ok i have Read The "Helper file" but this is a Bad choise for all 256Mb VGA User.

I Have Play alot of Game whit this Card whitout problem [.ndr] At Medium/High Quality.

Please can't leave this Limit ? If you can't leave i have to play max 1280x1024 on 22' 1680x1050 and the Quality is very poor.

Sorry for my English But i'm Italian .

Thanks Alot !

If you really must, you can bypass the game's upper resolutions ban with 256Mb cards by going into system\hardware_settings_restrictions.xml and tweaking/removing the <res mem..> xml part. Be warned though that by doing this will most likely cause graphical artifacts or cause your game to stop working (you'll have to run in safemode to get it back to what it was)

As a workable alternative, I recommend playing in a 4:3 resolution (such as 1280x1024) and setting your aspect ratio to 16:9. I do this as I myself have a 256Mb GFX card but a very nice widescreen Dell 24" WFP monitor.
