Cannot Register For Online Username :(

Hey, sounds dumb but I really can't register in game for a MP id :(

I go and put anything in the Create New Account and it just says Invalid Username :(

What seems to be the problem ? I tired many usernames and even my current Codies user name also but no hope :(

Can anyone give me a step by step guide on how to register ?
