There is no quick and easy answer to this, nor is there a 'perfect' set, just trial and error to find what works for you. It depends on your playstyle, your armour, your weapons, whether you mostly solo, have more than one build, even what race you are.

I suspect we will all have to rethink our traits once Book 12 goes live anyway.

I go with Determination, Valour, Justice and Idealism usually, with the final one varying but usually ends up on Fidelity for the Shadow Mitigation.

That's assuming you were talking about the virtue traits of course.
