Any thoughts on this? the BMM has 29 agi, 15 might, 15 vit and 15 will, SWG has 25 fate, 13 will and 1% ranged crit chance
i believe im right in saying that it takes 75 agility to get an extra 1% crit chance, but is it worth sacrificing the evade %??
thoughts??

Personally I'd go for the BMM. Much better overall stats in my opinion. I would try very hard not to drop evade if I could avoid it.

thoughts??Increasing your crit lvl is not vital untill a certain lvl imo. ( IF YOU CAN POST A SCREENSHOT OF YOUR CURRENT BUILD İ CAN GİVE MORE SUFFİCİENT ADVISE =)
BMM has more essential stats so i suggest to keep it as main but you can still use SWG on your solo easier adventures to increase your crit lvl and overall dps fastening your farm rate.
Though i don't equip them lately , probably due to the fact that i don't go farming adventures any more since Book 11 update.(!)
Anyways after a certain lvl you start building your stats over ICPR and evade rates and imo next update will make your agility and evade/parry rates very essential.I'm thinking of getting close to %20 evade and %17 parry next update sacrificng morale.WE'll see the impacts.

this is my hunter spec currently - fairly standard single use teal stuff, with Heronham Armour and Tadil guards. All jewellery is BMM, except the hunter Q earing. i tend to be ok for power as i have BotR off Legolas.
any general tips on improving my build are appreciated :0)

It's not that I am lazy or anything (ok, perhaps a little ;)), it's just that our American friends are quite extraordinary, in a good way.
Here is a nice list of jewelry for 50 level chars.
Jewells (http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?t=117749)
Some of them are Helegrond drops/rewards, some are Rift drops/rewards, some are very difficult to craft, but at least 2 for each slot are easily obtainable through quests.
Personally I don't raid so having a huge amount of icpr is not that a big deal, and I prefer more stats, this is why I use BMM bracelets instead of what is on that list. That's the only "objection" I have.

By IlCapitano (http://profile.imageshack.us/user/IlCapitano)You have decent stats but can be improved for sure.Have you capped your virtues? I'm using valour, loyalty, determination, justice, fidelity or idealism.
For items tadil, heronham, melee weapons are great .Are you using exquisite galadhrim armors? i guess so , that's nice.
i suggest changing the purple earing with Ferolloch giving %1 ranged crit + 15 agility + 30 fate and i guess +15 will too ( need to check). You should change your necklace imo.Rings are fine. You can change them later on no rush. For necklace oghluk's necklace is great giving agility plus morale but i'm aiming for +2 evade from book 12 pvmp jewel rewards. You can also consider elrond's gift book 11 final reward.
If you can keep your morale around that lvl try to increase your evade rate a bit.If you're rading rift with your kin or friends Defender's cloak is great for that. For pocket Ancient Arrowhead gives agility and evade.
I think best stats for a solo hunter is :
+3000 morale +1900 pow +600 ICPR +450 agility +16 evade +14 parry.
With book 12 i think we can reach above stats with even +490 agility +19 evade +17 parry.Well this is my own style though.

Just a quick question.....I notice so many people sayign about the high agility ect, yet until recently despite my hunter being 50 I'd barely focused on agi and instead gone for morale, my agi was about 270 yet I beat every hunter I faced in both regular spars and auto attack spars and generally I was able to surive longer than others against mobs (we tested this alot of times). Most of these hutners had agi at 400 and above, so basically my question is....Is it really worth continuing to swap my current set up for increased agi since so far it's actually seemed better not to focus on it?
If anyone can actually decipher that writing I'll love ya forever, doesnt even make sense to me and I just typed it :p

It's all a matter of personal choice. ( Yes, I did decode your post :) ) A lot of Hunters, myself included, do go for a high agi. It works for me and I'm happy with it.

the only problem with this is that your a single target dps class. meaning your trying to do as much damage to a single mob as possible (in a fellowship with no other hunters atleast 70% dmg towards a mob from just the hunter is normal)
its depends on what you do with your hunter.
if ettens is your thing then morale is fine if you raid or do instances then no you might aswell be a champion with no aoes. 270 agility is much to low for a 50 hunter atleast 330 -350 thats with a set of ex- galadrim armour.

If it works for you then sure, don't change your style. For me it's rather expensive to get a full set of etched beryl rings, earrings and bracelets to raise my morale, and I prefer to have modest stats all around.
For PvP I hear that high morale is the desirable stat, but in a fellowship the only thing that you can do is damage, so having low agility essentially makes you not so helpful. For solo play I guess it's a matter of playstyle.
Personally I can take a 50 level elite or 3 normal mobs my level that didn't surprise me almost anytime without having more than 3100 morale and 415 agility, so I am happy with it :)

I can take a level 50 elite with 3k morale and 225 agility...rawr :p
Yes our main role is dps, but how much dps can a dead hunter do?

I recently made some changes to my setup, and although my morale dropped down to 3,100... it boosted my ICPR to 759/minute which I'm very happy with.
I can get 400 Agility with full agility equipment, but otherwise I stick to 380'ish with higher morale.
