The crossbow passive skill is sitting alone in the hunter trainer ;)

I hate crossbows, don't approve of them at all in Middle-earth and never will. Thus my hunter/guardian haven't even purchased the passive skill from the trainers.

Generally, if I see someone using a crossbow I'll try and avoid grouping with that person, as it takes away from my gaming experience.

So yeah...I like bows :p

Bow for my elven hunter, crossbow for my dwarven hunter :-)

edit: ok, guess I have to mention that all this (2 hunters/"taxis" (*g*), different weapons) ist just for RP reasons ;-)

firstly why do u have 2 taxis?

secondly as the book 12 patch notes have cleared up the -5 block chance is AUTO ATTACKS only which was the only real advantage of getting one. That said if ur choosing ur 45 legendary bow choose the cross bow for the simple fact that its a decent ancient dwarf type wep and the bow of the hunt has a better bow bane of forgenwath u can get unlike the ancient dwarf xbow

Bow now, before it would have been crossbow for the insane damage but now it is gimped, so bow :)

Bow looks better on a hunter. Crossbows are like forks bows like scalpels, so the better your aim and skill the more you would go for the bow. Thats why my guardian wears crossbows while my hunter wears bows.

Aye, I've got it sitting there too. Crossbows are for incompetent marksmen, such as Champions or Guardians. Bows are for the trained.

I prefer the bow, cross bows just don't cut it for me. They take away a bit of the gaming experience for us hunters. I agree, hunters only have bows whilst untrained classes have crossbows.

I have only used one crossbow, I was so glad when I got rid of it. Somehow, it felt I didn't resemble a hunter it was strange.

Bows will always be the faivourite in majority cos not many elves you see with crossbow more people i see with bows
