Ornate Black Ash Bow or Xbow?

After book 12 consdering statements below ;
- Fear broken by DoT is fixed.
- Shooting with auto-attacks on run is allowed with -%75 accuracy.

Whic bow you'd prefer? ( There are better bows in the game but i'm thinking of getting one of these , which i postponed due to DoT-Fear bug.)

Imo , concerning damage output xbow is better , however shooting on run will affect pvmp remarkably so wield bonus is something differs two weapons.Weapon speeds are almost identical so i don't bother it much.
What are your thoughts?

ps : Ofcourse we still have time to watch Roheryn if better weapons are released , so no need to rush buying one :P

Crossbow, the 1% crit on auto attacks doesn't really do it for me.

Cross-bow seems better. A little faster and a higher minimum. Not sure thou, I´m not that good at weapons yet :P Still you got my thought now.

You do realize that this does not mean one in every four shots will hit while running? Which on it's own would be crap, 1 hit every 10 seconds or every 9.6 seconds.

It means that every attack you do on the run will most likely miss, making it even more lousy to even take into consideration.

But every attack will keep the target in combat, hmmmmm the pvmp opportunities...

I say the shooting while running= good for PvMP
= bad for PvE (not saying it's bad per sé, but i wouldnt like it in PvE)

Pvmp = crossbow
non Pvmp = bow

Crossbow = Ugly, slightly better and (most of the time) alot cheaper than the ornate bow

Bow = nicer looks, slightly less good (but taking into the account that each crit gives me 1 focus I'd personally say equally good), more expensive!

Well with the addition of new westernase type of damaging bow ( book 12.6 reward) i doubt i'll buy an ornate bow or xbow for pvmp , however i still agree they re usefull for pve raid/fellowship fights.

I have both, but I'm a GM Woodworker.

If your on Evernight and have the shard and recipe I'll try and make you either free of charge. I have +10% scrolls coming out my bum so don't worry about them and the mats I got loads of.

I tend to use the crossbow for PvMP and the bow for PvE. I carry them both so I can switch on the fly.
