The worst place you've used desperate flight by accident

Ok hunters, we've all done it. So what's the worst place you've used desperate flight by accident.

On my second run in the Tomb of Elendil I used desperate flight by accident at the last kergrim before jumping down to face the Turtle.

I was beaten recently by a kin member (who will remain nameless) who used desperate flight by accident while we were fighting Thrang in The Rift

I don't really have anything bad. The only time I can think of myself using it by accident is when I had just died, then hit DF instead of find the path to get ported to the exact same spot :p

Well probably the "best" one was at CD when we were really far and whops Im at the start again and of course the 1st part had reseted.


Needless to say that after that I placed DF to such place where I cant touch it accidentally.

after the cages in cd. this is long ago now instead of poping a campfire i accidentally pressed the df button :\ doh!

the other would also be a campefire related story but not df was i was in BG before i had done bk 9 and had no capt so we fought our way out there. take down a couple bosses everyone goes for a bio while we regen i go ok click campfire button and walk off come back and im sitting outside helegrod :\ doh!

in my defence the port to campfire skill was new at the time :D

Not a hunter, but i've had a hunter somehow port to Ost Guruth, taking his group of 6 with him (who for some reason hit yes) just before facing Zaudru in Helegrod -__-

I had the DF skill fire off while i was in a Urug run when my keyboard went crazy somehow, a log out and relog back in solved it so some game bug didn't agree with my G15. The kin members who were in the group understood but the other members from a different kin though it was deliberate leaving when it was purely a bug.

oo they couldn't even had a sec to say stg but scream? that troll encounter is pretty fatal :D
btw i've never used df in such a bad situation but never say never :P

Hmm I've used DF while in CD while we were fighting Helchgam or however it's spelt the groups I was with then all died and blamed me then kicked me out the fellow :(.

I was lagging out for some reason, in an annuminas instance and somehow ended up in the north of the misties! hit return to camp somehow :S! very bad! luckily there was a captain in the group :)

One of our hunters in RGZ is now somewhat famous for using DF.

So far his achievements are:

Helchgam (second pillar)
Rodakhan (just after the fight began)
Thrang (second wave of adds)

Lol nice thread, funny reading it through. Iv not done DF i must say. Str of morale has been wasted many times in my haste but a DF boo boo makes for a great read! My personal favourite was the accidental click at the rally point after a death lol..priceless! Made i chuckle!
