Here we can post some smaller details for CMR3.
Here are some I have been thinking on:

Snow in cooler intake.

Wheeltracks. You can see where other have braked. I got that in mind on Swedish rally when walking on a rally road. More tracks if you starts later and less gravel. (In Sweden less snow and more gravel. :-) )

Moving specators. Backs of if you drive wild and close to them. There should be an option to turn of for better graphic-performance.

Small bonfires on the side of the road in Sweden. If it's cold the grey smoke stays like a roof. Red signs saying "Prohibted Area" or "Förbjudet område". Many spectators should be out looking.

Please answear Codmasters. All we want to know is if you read our ideas. Just post something like:
"TheDode have looked on this thread."

The Race Driver sim options will give you the option to override the main difficulty settings within the main championship, and make it as hard as you like with a % slider bar. There are no easy/medium/hard options in the main championship or sim settings, as we think these are a clumsy way of doing difficulty settings in any type of game.

You will notice quite a few of all your ideas have made it into the game, including the sim settings and extra tracks (Oran Park and Sandown Raceway), which were not in the original design.

Race Driver can be best described as an accessible sim that allows the player to follow the life of a professional racing driver. Adding characters and a good story does not spoil the quality of the car physics or the driving in any way, and can only add to the feeling of being a racing driver. We want everyone to be able to pick up and race a car in Race Driver, just as easily as if they were driving their own car. But, just like driving in the real world, we want to give enough depth to the driving to allow excellent drivers to continue to push themselves. This is an accessible racing simulation, that we believe everyone will enjoy playing, and the good thing is, you will have a demo before the game is released so you can judge the game for yourself!

This are two interesting statements from Gavin Raeburn ( developer ) in the Race Driver forum.
I hope we can read one day something like this also in the CMR3 forum. :) ;)
