Are You Running out of "Quick Travel" Slots

Having just achieved the East Angmar travel skill, I now have an entire skill bar filled up with Quick Travel slots.

Might I suggest that instead we have one skill slot called ... I don't know ... Taxi? ... which when pressed gives you a selection box of the available destinations.

What do you think?

I have five bars up all full of skills/bows/travel/consumables...

I dunno... we currently have 5 skill bars at our disposal (60 slots in total), which I find is more than enough to hold all my skills, potions, chants, oils, extra bows for hotswapping etc. I have one dedicated skill bar for travel skills, which I've moved to one side of the screen so as not to get in the way of the more regularly used skills and items.

Your idea is good, though. Just not a priority atm (imo).

Server's down, but afai recall:

Options panel:
Quickslots
Click "always show bar 1+2+3+4" or whatever you like.
Click the choice of showing bar horisontal or vertical, then customize.

Looks similar to mine except that I use three more bars to have slots for oil, bow chants, weapons, detect wood, all stances (how did you activate your endurance stance anyway ;) ).... An these are full. But with your resolution that would be too much anyway.
Yeah I like the idea of having one button to travel that would give again some free slots...

uhm no offence, but where are your stances if you want switch fast during combat, consumables, like traps, chants, food, purge poison?

Where are your bows if you wanna switch bows quickly when you know a certain mob is weak to it? hope pots and all the other pots?

I keep all these things within reach and so i have all 5 bars shown

To change the way that your screen layout is setup press ctrl + # this will give you the option to move the icons, hotbars, compass etc around to your satisfaction

there are 72 slots total in 6 quickbars. Plenty for me right now, even with the consumables slotted.

There is only 6 quickslot bars and a 7th bar for pet classes

this is my current set up i have all stuff i use regularly on the quickslot and i have pots + weps + food etc

I always just click on the icon (have 5 rows shown, with travel on the left side verticaly). I get my fingers in a knot when I use key combo's or other hot keys.
In fact my shooting attacks are not on the 1 2 3 4 5 slots but further on. I click em with my mouse. Shooting an arrows takes a while so no point in key banging for them.
Keep my right button pressed and move with WASD keys.

Thats how I began to fight and feel most comfortable in moving around the world.

Well everyone has their style and Im quite used of using the keyboard while moving with WASD, used to play FPS in internet some years back so it's still something Im used to..

I have all mine on bar 5, bar docked & visibility bound to windows key.

No need to have travel skills on screen all the time, the only thing you need quick access to is DF :D

I also only have a couple of main bars showing like Amwrath, and know where my most important stuff is.

I dont see the point of people having toggle skills displayed full time, unless its a per combat type, like captains marks, or burglars armour rend.

the taxi visibilty thing i like i think i might implement that :D

im pretty slack so i have a mouse key bound with autorun so thats how i get aound mainly :)

I'd like to have only one skill as " Wayfare Routes" which opens an UI Window and allows us to choose the available ports like the way stablemasters work ,but more artistically designed maybe a town picture preview on every port route.

well actually he can tweak the icons size and enhance the free space on the screen, i'd suggest.
Check your UI options , it's a nice feature for those who have smaller monitors and low resolution.
