Hunter Rift Pieces

Just out of interest....

I got the Doom-hunters helmet the other day (thrang) and it is a behemoth of a piece to have 30 agi on the helmet it self and an extra 15 if you have the boots or any other "easy" to get piece. I am now up to 3 rift pieces and should be getting nr 4 this week when the rift resets :). How are we hunters doing on getting our rift armour set complete?
btw any hunter lucky enough to have tested the bow?? Please share

just go to the rift entrance talk to the hunter vendor and hold down ctrl and click on each armour piece u then see total stats and how they effect you.

oh and to the OP my e-penis is bigger then urs.

I have 3 pieces - chest, legs and boots - although I should technically have 5 since I passed a few lucky /randoms to share loot round the kinship (both times the person took the wrong item from trader too, doh :P).

Hunter shoulders look stupid... way too big for the model and I really hope they get changed in a future update. I think the helm looks good though and can't wait until next time we drop Thrang so I can roll again for the funky mohawk hat with uber stats and a 4/6 set bonus. Balrog again tonight so I'll ninja the bow and post a review ASAP ^_^

The set looks good with the Hammer-mark cloak too :D

We have downed the Balrog, but i passed on the weapon item. Frankly the bow sucks. No high top damage and possibility of fire dot.....yay...not...

Very true, but i already have three bows to addapt to each situation and if i do wish to have fire damage i'll use on oil honestly.

You've gotta admit compared to the weapons the other classes are getting the bow is just not comparable....

only the helmet is a stat upgrade on what i currently have

every other piece is a stat downgrade

and the bow which looks very nice is to fast which makes it pointless

Got the helm last night after a full 7 stage run (just the Balrog left, joy!). Probably won't get the other two for a while... thats the penalty for being active and attending as often as possible to help crack the instance and deal with crazy flying mobs :P

Anyone used the Disperse Shadow thing yet? Is it any good? Don't think I've heard any reviews of it yet..

Thanks Turk' stats and pics are always great it allows us to plan ahead. i love the detail on the cloak it get kind of boring seeing every one dressed the same.

Doom-hunter raid set 4/6; gloves, chest, leggings and boots. All dyed in "dark" green for some reason. Propably gonna change colour soon, or when I get the helm, but the damn set dyes quite poorly.

Yes, the set isn't an upgrade to stats nor does it give anything really useful. In fact, the bonuses are pretty much crap. I mean -50% power cost on Heart-seeker? So, I save ~137 power every 5minutes? Brilliant.

PS. Didn't bother to pose, just a quick shot from the login screen. The shoulder guards are called Tadil and helm is Faerthol (just because I like the way it looks).

nice mate is the shadow thing working for you? I have yet to see absorbed above my head when I get hit with shadowdamage.(I know you need to activate it by using the gloves) Not really impressed with the stats on em except for helmet and shoulders.

nice pic, but DUDE you need to work out a bit your shoulder guards don't fit :P

Hmm....if its for pvp you are talking about then yes the rift set sucks....

But for raiding is awesome!

I got most of the pieces from the old set and 5 of the rift set (i still need the leggings that i am getting tonight)

I prefare the rift set than the Aurochs one for most pve...

As to the rift bow...it sucks

the rift set is quite good.. like the stats much more than the aurochs.. but the set bonuses is really really bad. I guess players getting the full set already have good power regen and so no need for reduced cost really..

I like to go 2 aurochs and 2 rift. Just need the helmet from the rift then im done with my ultimate build :D

Rift bow is ok but really it should be more like Celegdur damagewise considering how hard it is to obtain..
