What makes a good hunter - more agility, fate, morale?? Which would be best to try and max out, and what could be sacrificed.

And what's the difference between the types of damage - I just picked up a bow that deals "Westernesse Damage" - what advantage does that give?

i think this has been discussed aon many occasions, but i'll try and give it a go. Basically your main concern is Agility and Fate, yet when you get nearer to lvl 50 you will want to have a more of an allround built. Meaning you can't really sacrifice one piece for the other. I still mainly focus on vitality, morale, fate (since my agility is already high enough), but i do have a pretty balanced built.

For traits, you should consider valour, determination, idealism, confidence (for high end bosses), and some others i'm fogetting at the moment...

For damage types check this link http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Mechanics:Damage_Types

edit: thanks for pointing that out :D

The new LM skill gives us much better info on mobs, and it seems the page linked has some guesses that are way off. I can speak only of lower level mobs but... beasts don't seem to have special weaknesses - bears, lynx, wargs, boars at least. Exception is wolves, which are vulnerable to fire. Orc-kind in general (goblins and orcs) are weak to light. Same goes for trolls and the dead. Spiders and insects are very vulnerable to beleriand-made arms. Amongst the insects, the neeker-breeker derivatives are noteworthy for having very high common mitigation; use any other but common damage weapon against them.

u need to focus on vitality, morale and power regen with ur traits as ur about as durable as a gummi bear if u focus on agility.

however saying this u dont need to worry about it as much ur in ur high 40's to specialise

Best thread so far in terms of virtues discussion is this one (http://community.codemasters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=214097&page=1). imho

Also, worth being aware of this page on the Lorebook (http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Category:Traits) that provides a matrix of traits.
