Hi every1 , these are probably simple questions but wanted to get a bit of advise.
At the minute im using fortified black ash bow but is it worth buying the ornate version as swapping to that. As im unsure on all the damage types and so forth
also at the minute i have about 355 agility and im in the process or buying new gear and stuff but i think im gonna lose some agility in the process what should i be looking for as a minimum on agility , i know i want it to be as high as possible but would i see i great difference if say it dropped to 300.
like i say sorry for the simple questions and thanks for the relpys.

You dont really want to drop below 330 agility, 350 is ideal for a hunter. Anything above 350 is a bit of a waste because the difference is low, but if you drop to 300 agil, you'll definately see the difference.
Try and keep your power over 2k, or youll have serious power issues. And the ornate bow is better in some circumstances. The fire damage on your fortified bow is better against creatures of nature (i think), and the light damage on the ornate bow is better against orcs/goblins etc.

I would say between 350-400 agilty is nice not just because of damage. Personally i feel pre 'blues' there are some very decent purples that will add agililty + other, go for them as most are reward items and switch traits about to get the 'feel' of what you need (everyone has different play styles some hunter enjoy a lot of up close and personal).
Hunter = Agility, Will, vitality/fate, this should give a good solid versitile base (yes ranking fate 3rd/4th means your power regen in a fight is less but most fights will be solo or minor fellowship... battles may not be long... eat food, hunters use fate for power regen, they don't have a tactical crit :P)
Take +power regen over fate and +crit over agility (just my opinon)
Bows one light, one fire, and one other (not common) if you the low end of agility you won't be a 'big critter' as such so look at bows with high min, heavy agility = a potential for large regular crits so high max (lots of debates over this)
and remember just because its blue it doesn't mean it's better and everyone has a different play style... you pay you play (take every thing as advise not a set path).

dot with ornate bow might be annoying if you use fear skills as primary strategy.

i still have bard's arrow slotted but tbh i haven't used it since book 11 , i should swap it really for the healing trait might come in handy i guess.

I suggest you also do the Tal Bruinen quest to get Tongannel's Joy. It will cost you nothing and does pretty damned good damage. Its Beleriand damage, if I remember rightly, which will give you another damage choice. Against certain mobs I have found it to easily outperform both the Fortified and Ornate Black Ash. However if you compare its stats with those listed in the Lorebook I suspect it may get a clout with the nerf bat soon.
There's also the option of light oils if you know/have a scholar. You can keep the upper end damage of the fortified bow, while it deals light damage. Because of this, I generally don't see a massive need to spend insane amounts of money on a light bow.
