I've had this thing on my quickbars for aaaaaaages
but EVERY time I've ever tried to use it I get the message that it doesn't effect this kind of target
So...
Can someone please tell me what it actually used to work on before it got nerfed?
or was it PvMP only? (I don't do that)

Cry of the Predator: Effective only against creatures (but now in book 11 t will be resisted 50%)
Bards Arrow: against non-creatures :) (humanoids, worms, ...)

More accurately
Cry of the Predator is only for beasts (wolves, bears, wargs, etc)
Bard's Arrow is only for evil mobs (men, goblins, worms, wargs, etc)
Of note is that hendorvals, wargs and barghests all are evil beasts, so can be affected by both.

some mobs cant be feared (as some cant be stuned), but it should be only master elites, not regular mobs

Aye the placcid longhorn elks, who don't have long horns are not affected by bards arrow. Not certain about the lore, but something claiming by named to be a longhorn and not displaying any horns at all must be some sort of evil shapeshifting creature. Especially when they don't attacks and have a pretty poor show of a defence when you attempt to slaughter them, all a trick to lull you into a false sence of security.
Bard's arrow should work against these utterly evil creatures, it does not :(
Poor Bard the hunter, he'll be turning in his tomb/pyre/grave/over the seas.

The Longhorns in the Misty Mountains? They are vulnerable to CotP, if I recall correctly.

Oh, perhaps I just misunderstood. I thought your mention of the Longhorns was a direct reply to the previous post about some mobs being immune to all fear skills. Apologies if that was not the case. ;)
