Well I am told I can bind myself to a campfire but so far I have been unable to do this.

Can anyone tell where I can bind in North downs, so I can keep my mapping to go back to Bree.

I am having great fun as a Hunter.

I'm not sure about this, but isn't there a campfire you can bind to in the fields of Fornost, at the rangers camp near Fornost itself?

Ok thank you I will try that tonight I was hoping there would be one nearer to Esteldin

Once you hit level 40, I believe, you won't have to bind to a camp near Esteldin. You can then buy the Guide to Esteldin skill and some rations and you can take your whole fellowship to Esteldin. :)

There is a campfire in the NW corner of Dol Dinen. Near the west valley leading there.

There's several campfires you can bind to. I know these others too:

The Great Barrow
Carn Dum gates
Urugarth Gates
Echad Garthadir in Annuminas (barter vendors and all)
Dwarf camp in the Bitter Stair near Helegrod gates (very useful for Helegrod raids ;P)



EDIT: Sorry, didn't see the North Downs bit :D

One thing to watch is the labelling...

"camp fire" doesn't allow you to bind. I think all it does is help you cook stuff (if you're a cook)

"camp site fire" are the ones you can bind to and yes, there's one just outside Fornost instance gates.

Thank you for all your answers I actually have now bound to the one just outside Dol Dinen as it was not to dangerous at all.

Found it most useful as I now need to use the Superior workbench as well.
