I think it might be something with my radeon 7000???

Hey brumbies,

We've got the Bledisloe Cup, the poms have the Rugby World Cup, I guess that leaves you with the coffee cup?

Colin McRae Rally 2/pc - Invalid Page Fault cmr2.exe with Radeon

Problem
The following message is reported on attempting to launch the game: "Invalid Page Fault in Module CMR2.EXE".

Solution
This issue affects graphics adapters based on the following chipsets when using only a single monitor configuration, under Windows 95/98/ME:

RADEON VE, RADEON 7000, RADEON 7500, RADEON 8500, RADEON 9xxx series.

For display adapters supporting multiple outputs you can work around this issue by attaching a secondary display. This display must be enabled as an extended desktop as follows:

1. Connect a secondary display and reboot the system.
2. Open DISPLAY PROPERTIES in the Control Panel.
3. Click on the SETTINGS tab, then select the SECONDARY DISPLAY.
4. Check the "Extend the desktop onto this display" option.
5. Apply the settings and launch the game.

Alternatively the problem may be resolved by disabling the second monitor, as follows:

Disable the second monitor in the Display Properties (right-click on the Windows desktop and select Properties--> Settings--> Advanced then the ATI tab for the dual monitor settings.)

Then, go to Start--> Settings--> Control Panel--> System--> Device Manager, click the "+" next to "Display Adapters". You should see a secondary 'adapter'. Do the Properties on it and checkmark "Disable in this hardware profile".
