The new M.I.A single Boyz is really awesome. I can't wait for the new album. Her debut is becoming a real favourite of mine.
White Stripes Icky Thump vinyl b-side is really terrific. It's called Baby Brother and should have definitely been included on the new album.

I have just acquired Dizzee Rascals new album Maths and English, only listen to the first 3 songs so far...
World Outside - Beats too soft for spitting on
Pus$yole - Catchy, uses the beat from an old Salt n Pepa song I think
Sirens - The first single, very grimey, good stuff
More to follow
Right well I think my favourite is 'Flex', there is also a good collab called 'Temptation' which has Alex Turner from the AM's on it.
Another collab with Lily Allen is bouncy and in short a pish take of gangster wannabes called 'Wanna Be'.
So you wanna be a gangster

Evening all, first time on here in a while...
EDIT: Does anyone else here like iLiKETRAiNS and be willing to send/point me in the direction of some tracks? I have Terra Nova, A Rock House For Bobby and Beeching Report.
Those are the best three by iLiKETRAiNS so far - they're excellent live (in a kinda scary, druggy way) so if you get the chance, go and see them. Debut album is due out in the next couple of months and I can't wait for it - one of the best this year no doubt.
New albums this week - Justice, which is fantastic heavy dance music, perfect for driving to; Ulrich Schnauss, with more of his dreamy pop shoegaze electronic stuff, and of course, still getting into Icky Thump. No way the best White Stripes album ever (Elephant, De Stijl and White Blood Cells fight for that crown) but still great.
And as we're halfway through the year, here's 10 of my favourite albums so far during 2007, in no particular order;
Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
Clap your Hands Say Yeah - Some Loud Thunder
Eluvium - Copia
LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver
Panda Bear - Person Pitch
Maps - We Can Create
Battles - Mirrored
Voxtrot - Voxtrot
The Shins - Wincing The Night Away
White Stripes - Icky Thump

I can't believe you put them two next to the Libertines  The Fray are probably the most boring band ever along with Embrace.

Indie/ rock , no heavyier tho i dont likeheavy metal ty.
Take a look at the Cure, Jimmy Eat World are good as someone mentioned.
Assuming you have the obvious ones, like Oasis, The Jam etc etc. Try Supertramp, Madness are good fun, Stereophonics are awesome, Thin Lizzy, The Verve and for something a little softer try Ray Lamontagne.

Been thinking about you
Your records are here
Your eyes are on my wall
Your teeth are over there
But I'm still no one
And you're my star
What do you care?
Been thinking about you
And there's no rest
Should I still love you
Still see you in bed
But I'm playing with myself
What do you care?
When the other men are far far better
All the things you've got
All the things you need
Who bought you cigarettes
Who bribed the company to come and see you honey?
I've been thinking about you
So how can you sleep
These people aren't your friends
They're paid to kiss your feet
They don't know what I know
And why should you care
When I'm not there
Been thinking about you
And there's no rest
Should I still love you
Still see you in bed
But I'm playing with myself
What do you care?
When I'm not there.
All the things you've got
That you'll never need
All the things you've got
I've bled and I'd bleed to please you
Been thinking about you..
  :( :( Great Lyrics!
