Chase FTW, he'd take over easily, ahhh Australians - Probably should be in the House thread though...

Hmm, they'd be nowhere without our Greg. The cures they suggest usually end up in near death, until House steps in with a wonder cure which saves the whole world.
And yeah it is slightly off topic, however Chase is Australian, from Australia (by the Shins). Haha, sounds like Comedy Dave's tedious link on the Chris Moyles Show :p

I don't know what you mean by your last sentence so, sure. :p
True, House is the greatest, but Chase is awesome, after all, it was House that said:
'What makes a man drool uncontrollably? Chase, were you wearing your short shorts?

Yeah I think it's okay. The singers voice can get a tad bit annoying after you've listened to about 5 or 6 songs though.
The LCD Soundsystem album is superb though, All My Friends would have to be my favourite from the album.

How do you answer a question like who are (insert band name)? You clearly know they have something to do with music so shouldn't that suffice for you.
Who are they highly bummed by? In answer to the question because they have released two of the most innovative dance records of recent years. I hope they consistantly release great records. You should try an album, you might like it... They're not rock though, so maybe not.
I'm abit late on it all i know but my mates mad about them and lent me the albums, Arctic Monkeys are blodey amazing, any gigs around the london area anytime soon?
Nope, they finished their UK tour a few weeks ago. Tickets went very quickly as well, you had to be on their mailing list and then win a ticket lottery, which was silly.

**** off you slut!
Prince > Aerosmith, Funeral for a Friend, The Killers, Plain White T's and Linkin Park, plus most bands you harp on about, oh and of course I mean in my opinion. It is because I prefer Prince to all these bands that I'm listening to him, rather than the music you enjoy. I could have gone The Killers? Oh dear; to your posts about them, but I don't because this thread is for discussion relating to the music you enjoy or have at least been listening to. What Prince records have you heard? I'm going to assume that at the most you've heard a few of his popular singles. I doubt you'll have ventured far enough into his catalogue to make a proper judgement. I'm not asking you to listen to him for the sake of judging him, but no need to comment on me listening to him in a negative light is there?
Now listening to Elvis Costello- Armed Forces, if that's ok with Totti?

Yes I am the one who is completely and utterly in love with The Velvet Underground: the greatest band to ever grace the earth.
The Velvet Underground and Nico is a perfect album and you should get the rest of it. White Light White Heat is another amazing album, although a bit weirder because it's only six songs long and one isn't a song, but like a story. Loaded is really great. The Velvet Underground (that's the title of an album) is really great. VU is a compilation album of various songs and is of course awesome.

I love The View at the minute. Grans For Tea, Wasted Little DJ's and Claudia are my current favourites.
My Song Of The Week - The Fray - Over My Head. Absolutely love this song. Didn't think they could do another song so soon that was as good as How To Save A Life but it's up there with it.

The White Stripes - Icky Thump
tune and half.
Album and a half. I really like it.
They're playing a very small venue on tuesday night, tiny for a band of their stature (i.e. headlining a festival in Hyde Park=huge band). I really want a ticket. It's only a couple of miles down the road from me as well.

FFAF did something similiar to that, they played three very small venues, basically pubs each about 200 people or so down near Cornwall.
The White Stripes are very big, if you get tickets for that, video it and post it up mate

Nah, I don't want to spend what could be the best gig I'll have been to holding a video camera. Sorry.
I love it when bands play smaller venues. I want to see Radiohead somewhere ridiculously small. There are rumours they'll play the Zodiac club in Oxford when it reopens, that's kinda small...

Silly name for an album, I call it Cross. Music is sublime. Best dancey music since The Go! Team or Daft Punk. Their manager guy is the former manager guy of Daft Punk. Serisously awesome album though.
