lol, These are the lyrics to that verse, i got close:D
Chickity china the chinese chicken
You have a drumstick and your brain stops tickin
Watchin x-files with no lights on, were dans la maison
I hope the smoking mans in this one
Like harrison ford Im getting frantic
Like sting Im tantric
Like snickers, guaranteed to satisfy
Like kurasawa I make mad films
Okay I dont make films
But if I did theyd have a samurai
Gonna get a set of better clubs
Gonna find the kind with tiny nubs just so my
Irons arent always flying off the back-swing
Gotta get in tune with sailor moon
Cause that cartoon has got the boom anime babes
That make me think the wrong thing

I downloaded that Kaiser Chiefs album this morning - not all that impressed to be honest.
Also downloaded
The Best of Blondie - I'm lovin this album, but who wouldn't
Mark Ronson - Versions - pretty much only for the Amy Winehouse version of Valerie
Paolo Nutini - These Streets - for the missus
Kaiser Chiefs - Yours Truly Angry Mob - This won't make it onto my ipod thats for sure!
Groove Armada - Soundboy Rock - Everyone needs some Groove Armada for 'chillin times'
Arctic Monkeys - Fvourite Worst Nightmare - Wanted to hear all the hype, Not all that impressed, not as good as the 1st which I though was only ok at best
The Smiths - Louder than bombs - Say no more, can't go that far wrong with The Smiths really
Ne-Yo - Because of you - for the missus again
Wanted the new Kings of Leon but the download link had already been removed before I could get it - shame, I'll try again tomorrow as since I've been on MSN with the missus Amerie and R. Kelly have both been added to the 'I want that CD in my car' list.

Anyway, enjoying the Battles debut album; it's not to everyone's tastes but it's an epic electro/rock album, really good.
A bit weird though, on one of the tracks it's a heavy rock beat with the singer sounding like he's a chipmunk over the top - and yet it actually still works! Have a listen here - if nothing else the drumming on it is absolutely superb: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpGp-22t0lU
Recently - Arctic Monkeys album, just can't get into it, quite a disappointment from the first album, Bjork album is a bit too weird, loving the Feist album, the Maps debut, but still, the best of the year so far has to be Arcade Fire...
Also listened to the Go! Team new song as that's available now - for one of my favourite bands of the past few years, but the new one was a bit underwhelming sadly. I'll keep listening...

Enjoyed some of the Justice stuff I've heard so far - looking forward to the album.
This week's albums so far - The National (US alt-rock band's fourth album) - very melancholy, very late night ambience and really, really good - liked their third album but this one is such a step beyond. Sounds wonderful, so laid back but confident - a band on top of their game.

yeah sure have, but Fredrik Åkesson will his replacment, hes a very good guitar player whos style should fit into opeth.
He was the guitarists for a death metal band called Talisman, and has also played with Arch Enemy on many ocassions.

Is Akerfeldt the song writer? If so I have heard he is a genius! I have some Opeth songs, The drapery falls and Harvest, pretty impressed by them, reccomend any more?

anyone know any Voivod, just started to delve into there catologue now
They are one strange band, started off thrash/speed metal with the likes of slayer, anthrax, metallica etc, but into late 80s early 90s they went wierd, techno punk thrash sci fi speed metal lol cant explain.
Great band though shame Piggy passed away in 2005, among other great guitarists who passed away to early like Dimbag of pantera and Chuck Scnheilder of Death

Got two Stevie Wonder albums in the post this morning: Innervisions and Songs in the Key of Life. They're both really awesome and the immediacy of me getting into both of them was a very pleasant surprise. This is how R'n'B should sound. Even though it's more funk/soul/jazz. I shouldn't bother putting these in a genre, they're just magnifique!

Am I the only one who finds Childcatcher by Patrick Wolf slightly uncomfortable to listen to, especially with all the Madeleine McCann business? Apart from that, I love Bluebells atm.
Also... any opinions on Scouting For Girls? Theyre being played alot on Radio 1 recently.

Nah don't relate the two atall tbh.. I've listened to The Childcatcher for ages so I've grown to associate it with other things. My third favourite Patrick Wolf song, ahead of it are 'To the Lighthouse' and 'Tristan'.
Not heard any of Scouting for Girls, any good?

Ill try and get into it a bit more, Ill probably lose the association as I listen to it tbh, Ive only listened a couple of times.
And Scouting for Girls are alright, kinda Indie I suppose, only heard the one song once though so cant really pass judgement on them yet.
Anyone willing to send Mens Needs by The Cribs?? :) Pwease.

Erm, pretty much yeah... it keeps a record of all the songs you played etc and helps you find people who have similar music tastes to you... from there you could nick their music and learn about different bands and stuff.
I think anyway :)

You show people your music taste, you can see theirs, try some of theirs, see who likes the same stuff as you and try their music, make recommendations, see what your friends are listening to, and have a profile which shows you your most overall listened to artists, weekly artists, etc.
