At the moment Ima Woodsman, crafting bows and such but Im thinking of switching to Explorer as I, myself will benefit more from it as I can make more equips to me, not just a bow.
So what profession do you guys use on ure hunter?

Against my better judgment I chose Woodsman as well for roleplaying reasons.
However, there are several issues with Woodworker at the moment and with crafting in general, so I suggest you switch to Explorer as soon as possible.
The Scholar is a very nice choice IF you have the time necessary to spend to gather the necessary resources. A friend of mine has literally camped at ruins for days to gather the resources he needed, even though there was a Kinship providing him with everything they got.

That sounds all too familiar. Scholar here - speciality, sitting in ruins. As an archaeologist in real life, there's a certain surrealness there...

Woodsman here. As a practical trade skill I feel it's rubbish, but it suits the character so I've stuck with it.
I rarely find I can craft anything better than my current quest rewards or 'lucky' drops and the rare crafting items are just too hard to get hold of to warrant the effort. Our kinship camped an area for several hours one night trying to spawn a particular rare mob we knew 'lived' there and gave up, as no matter what we killed he didn't spawn.
Only the really rare single-use recipes are better than some drops so the crafting is there for amusement reasons only in my opinion.

Also Scholar, and I'v got to Tier-5 and master in Tier-3 and I have used max. 8-10 hours of pure camping from lvl1 to lvl43.
In my oppion it's not much.
It all depend on the location you camp and what is the purpose with the camping.
I found a REALLY good place where 2-3 Forgotten text spawn almost right after each other, and very close. In one hour of grinding/farming I got around 40-50 Relic of Lotherian and 70-75 Dunedein script. If I create Refined potions for that I can make about 15 potions, that sell EASY for 300-350s for 5 pcs.
combined with the loot I get from the mobs, I can make around 2 gp in less then 2 hours :)

Armsman here... always good to be able to make all your own weapons. (well, apart from my current bow... it's the reward from the Hunter lvl 30 quest :) )
Of course... with another character being an Explorer, I've got the armour covered too... :D
