Well, sorry, I didn't realise that your brain power doesn't stretch as far as reading posts and that your humour got shot off in the second world war, but if you really want to know, my fav game on the c64 is Turrican 2.

Is that the one where you had like an evil twin who was also trying to collect herbs? If so it was Feud :)

Oh, just remembered about Duet too, a game similar to Gauntlet but was set during the war. Had to collect snips to cut the barbed wire, collect food, shoot the enemy etc. Also similar to Into The Eagles Nest which was great too :)

Feud that was is, I wasted so much time on that game lol

I'm 32 now and still waste too much time on video games

my favorite C64 games were "red storm rising" based on the tom clancy book, and a game called pirates where you cruised the ocean, plundering cities and boarding ships. i've been looking for a similar game to pirates on the playstation 2 but i can't.

Fave Codemasters games on the Speccy were:

Dizzy
Super Stuntman
ATV Simulator (think that was Codemasters)

Fave overall games on Speccy were probably:

Dizzy
Sidearms
Finders Keepers
Ant Attack

Fave retro games of all time are:

Dungeon Master (Amiga / ST)
Millenium 2.2 (ST)
Stuntcar Racer (Amiga)
Populous (Amiga / ST)

I will probably think of more though.....

Yeah that was a great game, although I was always rubbish in the sword fights! The cannon battles against other ships were cool, and a nice combination of an action and trading game. There was a kinda similar game on the Speccy which wasn't too bad called Tai-Pan.

yea, i loved laying seige to cities, and boarding the galleons, and getting thousands of pieces of gold. trading was a little boring, but the game was great. especially on the ole c64, a game ahead of its time.
