I think if you are from Stoor then they did in the lore wear boots from other posts discussing this issue elsewhere around here. Otherwise boots weren't worn as such.

Just a suggestion, but when you take a screenshot why don't you put all the graphics settings to the max and then just change them back afterwards. That way we'll see your hunter in all their glory.

My hunter, posted just some articles above, is in full galadhrim (except for the shoulder guards) all dyed in violet but pants (in black). As you can see, on an armor piece, not all the part show the dye, not much of it in fact is dyed at all.

Don't see the point in this thread, they all look rubbish, as does my elf hunter. Terrible character models. Wonky proportions, gay looking, garish clothing, and cloaks the look terrible, the wrinkles done with dirty looking textures rather than normal maps, and they cut through the weapons.
Even the character models in Everquest 7 years ago were cooler looking than these. They didn't have as good a graphic engine, but the designs were far superior
No wonder they give you an option to turn of the display of hats and cloaks, they're laughable.

And if you are using deadly precision for focus gaining , + ranged crit items will improve your combat play remarkably.

since it was our first balrog kill we just let everybody roll on every item. I just happened to win the Broken Link Chain. It would rather have won the shoulders or weapon but it wasnt to be. The rings give you power over morale, inc iCR, which for a hunter (the way i look at it) is a good thing. Hunters arnt made to take hits. We need to do damage, and need the power to do it so lm's can top of minstrels and tanks that are way more important. So not a bad deal. Fact remains that it is better used to minstrels and lm's I agree. It's never a total waste though.

Thanks for the info and comments.
Book 12 melee improvements may make us improve our might stats too but i doubt we will have decent melee damage but side bonuses like focus gain so it's a myth yet.Anyways for pvp i'd take the etched beryl set but for raids which we have enough minstrels i'd like the balrog set too :)

i seriously doubt that any hunter will buff might, your only gunna use the melee skills to get more focus, pretty dumb if you nerf some of your other stats for might, want might?,role a champ imo! :P

The Annuminas set took a lot of work to get. Wethrindir was the first in our kin to get a complete set and I'm working on a second for my Guardian.

I think the set itself costs 180 battered arnorian fragments which equates to 9,000 arnorian armour fragments. Rather than letting individuals take pieces we donate fragments of both types to the next person trying to get a set. If we did otherwise I doubt anyone would ever get a full set.

The hardest part is getting the unique pieces requried for the chest, leggings and shoulders from the instances in Annuminas. We've successfully mastered the Gardens and Ost Elendil but the Tomb of Valandil still gives us headaches.

Running game on a less than impressively specced laptop atm... If I try and increase texture detail I get a BSOD. Therefore, I had to do something to increase the sharpness of the image which would otherwise have looked rubbish.
