MTV Music Generator keeps crashing!!!!!!

I bought it to play with on the PC but so far all I get is a black screen. a small pop. the black screen goes away and I get the message

MTVMUSIC caused an invalid page fault in
module MTVMUSIC.EXE at 015f:0040304b.

I then come here and see a game with a 2000 release date, while still on the web site has no forum, patches or downloads. That is not what I expected from a company that brought us the very good Operation Flashpoint game.

but I digress.

I have used Directx 9 to start. reverted to the on disc version. reinstalled the program several times and still get the same message.

Try posting up ur dxdiag and system specs. You may need the latest drivers for your graphics card and soundcard

Just my luck.

Have had windows crash needing a new reinstall.

This is indicating to me that I most likely had corrupt files on my system.

A reinstall was ineffective so I am having to start over. At least I am able to run the program on my fiance's computer and should after the reinstall be able to run it on mine. (fingers crossed.)

Thanks for being willing to look at my post and I will post the outcome.
