View Full Version : What happened to another Cannon Fodder?
Speaking of retro, Codemasters snatched up the Cannon Fodder license for an excellent little port a few years back for the Game Boy Color. What happened to more work with that title? Why not a linkable version on the Game Boy Advance, especially with the popularity of the Game Boy Player, this would make a great title. Better yet, why not a cube version of the game? Ok, maybe you guys don't do games for the Cube anymore, but with its great multi-player potential, plus genereal "fun-ness", this would seem to be a great release for any system.

Maybe Codies didn't want to get caught in Nintendo's inescapable web.

Realism has eclipsed fun.
Don't know whether an unrealistic game like Cannon Fodder would take off these days, but imagine if you could have internet play or even just split screen...
1-32 player four man squad Cannon Fodder :p

That's quite true. It's more obvious with games like Operation Flashpoint where being one of the most realistic war games is not realistic enough for some. But it's a trend crossing over to the action genre (amongst others) as well.
