well, that happens with the rules rigged towards holden and has been for many years. Take i think it was 1996 when Glen Seton won the championship, fords were kicking major butt and they were forced to change their downforce package to allow holden to catch up, yet only this year holden had to make the same changes and they were whinging about it.
It has been biased for far too long. why did ford have to change mid season when holden were allowed to go for years? I rarely watch the v8's because the series is unbalanced, or rather the people in charge are. i hope ford win more, just so they can shove it right up the people who run the series and holdens *&*%#%& ^&$*^#
besides, no matter who wins, the falcon looks heaps better than the commondore, which apart from the body panels is basically the same Heap Of Lousy Dents (and) Engine Noises :p

MinusZero, you might want to get your facts straight before posting
"i think it was 1996 when Glen Seton won the championship, fords were kicking major butt"
In 1996 Lowndes (then HRT) won the championship, Sandown 500 and Bathurst, actually kicking Fords major butt.
Seaton did win, 1997 though with Perkins winning Bathurst.
And look at last year, pole positions Holden vs Ford were 7 to 6 with 5 to Skaife and 5 to Ambrose. As has been the case the last couple of years, that shows Ford have the pace but don't finish the job.
So quit ya winging. Ford may have kicked Holdens butt yesterday but look at the points table buddy, Holden 1, 2 & 3. I rest my case.

This is just speculation on a few comments made by some of the drivers after the race.... The leaders on the board are infact VX Commodores as it stands the next in line are 2 BA Falcons. Now it was interesting to note that some of the drivers, and commentators, made the comment that the VX seems to use up the tires more and that was one of the reasons that both Lowndes AND Ingall were able to pass Bright at such a late stage. All the leading VXs were loosing grip later on, compared to the BA's. One of the commentators mentioned that we may start to see the VXs dropping down the order as the series progresses, Bright himself mentioned that with his VY not looking to be ready for quite some time he is worried as to how he will continue to perform.
It was very pleasing to see Fords 1-2-3 :) It was great racing all round.

I suggest you take another - proper look at the points table, but this time drop the worst round from everybody as per the rules.

You can't really apply that rule yet buddy, will have to wait till the end. As it stands now Holden teams are still in front. So there is my "proper look" at the points table.
Speak to me after round 13.
BUT, Holden have only won 1 race this year. Also Holden were allowed to change their heads because they cried Ford had too much power sob sob
