sure there are things that need fixing and hopefully the patch will address alot of those issues.
The lack of dedicated server support is worriying, but i think hardcore OFP2 will stick it out. But only time will tell.

That it is. However, the majority of games I played in the original game were P2P on GSA and that was fine for me and a lot of people. But, still I can see where the option of a dedicated server is nice.
My biggest disappointments were: 1 Island. The original game had 4. It wouldn't be that terrible if Skira were more varied in environment.
2 factions. Again, 3 in the original, 4 counting civilians.
Textures. Some of them are a bit too low and I'd like to see higher resolutions on them.
But, what I think the game did well was command interface. I like it. It does display a bit of console-itis but that can be fixed. Quite frankly, not many of us who were squadleaders in the original or in the
ArmA series gave out movement orders while sprinting so it's not that terrible.
It's over all.. fun. I mean, despite it's glaring problems I still have quite a bit of fun with the game.
